Mayron and Manuel
Luchtime. All of us weren't wearing enough
layers so half of us went home because cold!!
Sort of the main part of town. A bit different to Auckland Waterfront!
So here's our day in rural territory in a little town called Coliumo. Across the bay from Dichato. Really nice but still pretty destroyed from the tsunami! Tons and tons of boats and holiday houses. Super freezing day too!!

View from the road. Across the water
you can just see Dichato
Walking back from the territory. Took us 1 hour through the
middle of nowhere.
My partner for the day, Diego Caro. Elder
of our little congo and Coliumo is his home town
so every person we called on knew him. And he walks from there to Dichato everyday. Its a good hour

Awesome couple of hours of football with 8 of us

From left. Pato, Gerardo, Mayron, y
 Pablo. These guys are professional

What we do for fun here in Dichato!! Football and Takataka(foozeball).

Stadium in Concepcion. They used to
have to assemblies here
Adios!!

The first day of my trip down south. 9 hours on bus to get there. I was meant to go for 4 days but I loved it so much I changed my ticket and stayed for 8! A town called Curarrehue. Close to Pucon. Lots of mountains, volcanos, lakes, rivers, pretty towns, and beautiful trees. Had super fun witnessing and hanging out there with the brothers. Got to do some amazing territory.

My hosts - Alejandro and Milton. Special pioneers and elders
living in the front of the Kindom Hall
Milton and Alejandro'study. 2 hours and
2 paragraphs of the bible teach book.
These kids ask soo many questions!

Lots of Mapuche people in this area. Alot of people live
without ever going into town so why not have a house with a
view way up the hill? We were close to Argentina there too.
Just over that ridge
Country day means lots of people so Me,
Marco, y Hector on the back

Did a return visit with Marco and we ended up walking back following the river

An example of the AMAZING trees all over the place. And some
 guys back yard

Up here there lived a really nice old lady
that couldn't hear or read so we did our
best and showed her all the nice pictures
 in the publications

Dodgey super high swing bridge that was a bit scary to walk across

MEGA cold!!!
On the second rural I went with this couple, Hector and his wife, and walked past heaps of beautiful little lakes called lagunas. I wish it was warm enough to swim!

Having lunch at this sister's coool house.
One of the many thermal pools
around here.
Inside the Mapuche museum. Listened to a guy talk about the
history and way of life of the Mapuches. Cool inside fire pit.

Some of the town preaching

Milton took us for a little sightseeing trip to Villarica. Theres
too many lakes to remember all their names.

In Pucon having dinner with Milton,
Sebastian, and Tori
Tori and Milton in Temuco Mall

The very jump. When Sebastian landed from
this he dislocated his knee! So we went to
Villarica Hospital and poor guy we had to
wait for ages. At least 6 months
 of recovery

That day we had no car so all up we walked about 10 k's.
This is the road to Argentina. That valley is amazing

Went to some studies with Alejandro
on bicycles. I think its the camera that made
 the bike look tiny

A cool place to be assigned as a special pioneer!!

My last night so after the meeting in Pucon
had some of their famous Hot Chocolate at Cassis
Curarrehue has once a month a meeting in the native language
of Mapudugun. There is a translating group in Temuco and
at the moment there are a couple of tracts and the Listen to God
brochure. A lot of brothers are learning it and its VERY
so they do so well!

Kingdom Hall in Pucon. Right in town

Just before getting on the bus to go Back to Dichato. View of Mount
 Villarica from Pucon.
